What makes this 1997 200SX SE-R so special? Well for starters there is the SR20VE powerplant and the CalumSult ECU. The car was purchased new in March of 1997 and served daily driver duties up until 2002 when that role was taken over by a used Sentra SE-R.
For those that are not aware, the SR20VE is a naturally aspirated 2.0 liter equipped with Nissan's NEO VVL (variable valve timing). While not as well known as it's cousin, the SR20DET, the VE is no slouch when it comes to power output. The stock power output is rated bewteen 186hp and 205hp depending on the specific application the power plant was plucked from. In it's current state of tune, Eric's SE-R put down 171hp on the Dyno4mance heart breaker!
